EMN Sweden at the Swedish Forum for Human Rights 2025
EMN Sweden is taking part as an exhibitor at this year’s Swedish Forum for Human Rights (MR-dagarna) – the Nordic region’s largest forum for human rights. The event takes place on 9–10 December 2025 at Kistamässan and brings together representatives from civil society, the public sector and academia. Over the course of two days, EMN Sweden will meet visitors to exchange experience, learn from one another and expand its national network.

EMN Sweden is taking part in the event for the first time. This is part of EMN Sweden’s long-term strategy to expand its national network and strengthen cooperation with civil society on migration issues. This year’s programme features seminars led by organisations committed to the issue including the Forum for Living History, Uppsala University, Human Rights Watch, the Migration Studies Delegation, the Raoul Wallenberg Institute, LM International and the Church of Sweden. Together, they will discuss current issues relating to human rights and social development - migration being a key aspect.
Come and meet us at the fair
The exhibitors’ area features around 60 organisations with stands and book tables. It offers fantastic opportunities to discover new initiatives, ask questions and make contacts.
Please do pop by our stand, C:33 – we will tell you more about the EMN mandate and how EMN Sweden uses the network’s findings and results as supporting material and a basis for fostering a fact-based public debate on migration.

Try out the learning tool ‘Destination Europe’
During your visit, you can also try out one of the EMN products – the interactive learning and training tool ‘Destination Europe’. This game can be used as an EU role-playing game in upper secondary school teaching and as a source of inspiration and a learning tool to foster understanding of EU migration policy.
Migration is an area currently facing major changes. There will be the opportunity to discuss whether the game could be suitable for your organisation and to order a copy.
