Ad hoc queries
Ad hoc queries are a tool used to rapidly collecting comparative information.
Ad hoc queries are a tool used by EMN National Contact Points and the European Commission to collect information from network countries on a wide range of migration and asylum-related issues.
How it works
Ad-hoc queries provide answers within a short timeframe, to specific and targeted questions on migration and asylum issues launched by the National Contact Points. EMN National Contact Points introduce a query of relevance to policy development in their Member State. Other National Contact Points have four weeks to respond.
A compilation of all responses is published within eight weeks of the launch date of the query at the EMN European website.
The website has a search-function making it possible to find Ad hoc queries on different themes and from previous years.
