Conference 2025

EMN Sweden organised two conferences in 2025. One focused on the identification of victims of torture and inhuman treatment in the asylum procedure, while the other addressed a common European approach to labour shortages and talent attraction.

• On 23 January 2025, EMN Sweden and the Swedish Red Cross organised the conference “Identifying victims of torture and/or ill-treatmentI in the Asylum Procedure” in Malmö. The conference was inspired by a recently published EMN Inform, produces by the EMN in cooperation with the Red Cross EU Office and the Swedish Red Cross.
• On 3 December 2025, EMN Sweden organised the national conference “A Common European Approach to Labour Shortages and Talent Attraction”. Policymakers, researchers and representatives from the public and private sectors, as well as EU institutions, gathered in Stockholm to exchange knowledge and experiences on labour shortages and talent attraction.
