About the EMN

The European Migration Network (EMN) is an EU network of migration and asylum experts. They work together to provide objective, comparable and policy-relevant information and knowledge on emerging issues relating to migration and asylum in Europe.

The European Commission (Directorate-General for Migration and Home Affairs) coordinates the EMN and ensures that its work reflects the EU’s policy priorities in the fields of migration and asylum. The Commission also adopts the EMN’s annual programme of activities.

EMN Sweden is funded by the European Commission through the Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund (AMIF) and the Swedish Migration Agency.
